Reflex Storm difficulty modes explained

Difficulty in Reflex Storm changes more than a label. Relaxed gives five lives, slower speed, and a wider target window. Normal uses three lives and standard speed. Hard gives two lives, increases speed, tightens the target, and raises score potential. Insane gives one life, higher speed, tighter timing, and the strongest score multiplier.

This design lets players choose the kind of run they want. Relaxed is best for learning the arena or playing comfortably. Normal is the baseline for most players. Hard is for players who already understand the timing. Insane is for high-pressure score attempts where one mistake can end the run.

Which mode should you choose?

Start Normal if you already play arcade games. Start Relaxed if you are learning the pulse pattern, using a small screen, or testing colorblind mode. Move to Hard only when early misses feel rare. Use Insane when you want the most intense reaction-time challenge.

The best mode is the one that creates tension without making the screen unreadable. Reflex games improve when you can clearly see why you missed.
